Indegene was about 250 employees strong and had acquired two companies in the United States. When we initially made contact with Dr. Yegneshwar of Competency Catalysts, we were an 80-strong India based development and professional services center operating in support of the US-based parent organization. The plan was to grow the operation in India aggressively to about 400+ within a couple of years and have this serve as a crucible of talent and excellence for the worldwide organization.
