Dr. Ashok Korwar

Dr. Ashok Korwar is a management consultant who assists small and medium companies to grow to the next level. He is also an executive coach to senior managers in Pune and Mumbai. One of his major passions is the development of leaders in the software industry. From 2000 to 2007, he was strategic advisor to the Chairman of Polaris Software Lab, Chennai. Earlier, he was a Professor at IIM, Ahmedabad, for ten years, where he also served as Chairman of the MBA (PGP) program. His book “Creating Markets Across the Globe" won the Escorts/DMA award for best management book in 1997.

He holds a Ph.D. in management from UCLA and a B.Tech from IIT Bombay.

Areas of focus: While working with Competency Catalysts, Dr. Korwar brings to the table, his vast experience in strategy formulation, market analysis, and leadership development.

ITMiles consists of a pool of associates who have worked at senior positions in the IT industry for 15-20 years. ITMiles is engaged in providing consulting and mentoring help to individuals and organizations involved in software delivery. They conduct training/experiential workshops in project management, requirements management, proposal preparation, customer expectations management, risk management etc. ITMiles also offers delivery consulting, mentoring and outsourcing assistance.

Viswa Viswanathan teaches Computing and Decision Sciences at the Stillman School of Business, of Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, USA. His current focus areas are Enterprise Systems and Information Systems design. His recent consulting assignments have focused on helping organizations identify areas to move their information systems beyond process automation to active support of managerial decisions.

Areas of focus:
Viswanathan brings in technology and operations research knowledge and experience in the engagements he participates in with Competency Catalysts.

Vinay is an entrepreneur and management consultant whose passion is to catalyze systematic innovation in organizations. He assists organizations in the development of assets like technical ladder, innovation lab, innovation process, competency frameworks and then integrating these assets into business processes. Before starting his consulting business, he worked with Sasken and Motorola.

Vinay is a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bombay and Ph.D. in Computer Science from State University of New York at Buffalo.

Areas of Focus: We co-opt Vinay to execute projects involving competency mapping, innovation processes, technical leadership development, and enhancement of career paths.

Devapriyo Ghose

Devopriyo takes a holistic approach to building leadership pipeline, combining action learning, customized classroom sessions, team coaching, competency modeling, 360 feedback, assessment centers and development planning. He has conducted a number of organizational development interventions including diagnosis, design and executive workshops/facilitation.

At Mercer he led their leadership offerings and at Infosys leadership Institute he was responsible for senior level leadership development and the design of the leadership framework. He was part of Access Information Services delivering services in the area of decision support systems, aligning business processes with IT applications, strategy and simulation/modeling and at American Medical International he anchored systems design and development.

Devopriyo is an MBA from UCLA and has a master’s degree in Economics from Calcutta.

Ramesh Soundararajan

Ramesh is a HR professional with more than 20 years of experience. He has worked as a Center of excellence head, consultant, program manager as well as head of HR. He has more than 15 years of experience in IT, with companies like Infosys, Computer Associates and Sasken. His expertise is in reviewing and designing HR systems, that improve organization effectiveness; Performance management, competency management, organization structure, analytics. Ramesh has also worked with companies in the manufacturing and FMCG sector, both as an employee and as a consultant. He has a Masters in HR from XLRI and graduated in ECE from NIT Kozhikode. He is also a certified coach and PCMM assessor.
