Dr. Yegneshwar of Competency Catalysts has over 20 years of consulting, industry, teaching and research experience. In his long association with Infosys, he was the Head - Education & Research (E&R), Vice-President - Infosys Leadership Institute and was also Member of the Management Council. In the course of his career, he has worked at Tata Engineering and Locomotive Company Limited (now called Tata Motors), and IIM, Ahmedabad. He also held the position of Co-Founder and Senior Vice President, Engineering, Savantech India.

As the Head of Infosys’ E&R department, he was involved in enhancing the education and research function. In particular, he built the organisation’s knowledge and skills through education programs at all levels. He played a lead role in Infosys and was seen as the leader in Knowledge Management (KM) through his succesful spearheading of several KM applications. In his role as Member of the Management Council, Dr. Yegneshwar participated in strategy formulation exercises and critical decision-making. His role at the Infosys Leadership Institute involved designing, developing and delivering systems and interventions for leadership, organization and employee development.

Dr. Yegneshwar has in the last four years consulted with over 25 different organizations in scorecard definition, job definition, performance management, leadership development, organizational development exercises, setting up and running training functions, reviewing training efficacy, and many more initiatives thereby helping them become more effective.

He has published papers in the areas of learning models, software engineering, software management and leadership development. He has also designed and delivered courses and workshops in Technology, Thought Leadership, Building Creative Capital, Customer Satisfaction, Managing Technical Teams, and Project Management.

Dr. S. Yegneshwar is a BE in Mechanical Engineering from BITS, Pilani, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT, Mumbai.
