The leadership development process begins with an understanding of the organization: its vision, goals, culture, and values. Then we work with the founders/top management to articulate the expectations of the leaders. Once this is done, we create a competency framework aligned to these expectations. The expectations and competencies are then validated with the target group in the presence of the top management. The competency framework is then used as the basis for development. A 360-degree instrument based on the competency framework is designed. In addition to this, we use other instruments, performance ratings and feedback, the manager’s feedback and the individual’s self assessment, to create a development plan for each member. The development typically consists of a combination of classroom programs, field based projects and executive coaching.
